Chaska Heights, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook to join our growing team.
Chaska Heights Senior Living is located one mile north of Highway 212 off of Highway 41 in Chaska, Minnesota. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 136-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Chaska Heights provides a growing leadership team and staff. Join our team today!

Shifts Available: Part time 6am-10am Weekend shift.
Wage:$17.50 - $22.50 an hour - Wage is based on experience

In this position,you will beresponsibleforpreparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.Duties include:
  • Prepare and serve food and mealsin accordance withplanned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
  • Direct andassistin cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors,dishes,and utensils.
  • Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
  • Review and process diet changes and ensure menus aremaintainedand followedin accordance withestablished procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills.
