Title: Therapist I or IIWorksite: Park Place Recovery Center for WomanCounty: AllenHours Status: Monday – Friday; 8am-5pmPay Range: starting $45,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides chemical dependency counseling and education services to clients in a residential setting via individual, group and family therapy modalities. Works closely with other mental health professionals, case managers, care coordinators and governmental officials to assure client care. Performs other related work as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for caseload of residential clients
2. Provides assessment, educational, and treatment services
3. Provide screening and referrals for treatment of children of residents
4. Completes required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
5. Works collaboratively with other clinicians and with other agencies when appropriate
6. Develop and maintain treatment groups, lecture series, and programs
7. Participate in multidisciplinary team approach
8. Maintain an expert knowledge base regarding current practices and research
9. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family, or psychology and pursuit of a licensure or certification under a professional board.
