Title: THERAPIST I – DUAL DIAGNOSIS

Hours Status: FULL-TIME, SALARY

Pay Range: STARTING AT $45,000 per year

Pay is commensurate with education and experience

Brief Job Description: Responsible for providing quality services to a caseload of clients dealing with substance use disorders, mental illness, or both. Primary services include individual, family, and group therapy. Primary populations include individuals experiencing homelessness and clients with court involvement. Flexible hours are required. Position requires a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a mental health related field with Kentucky licensure or board eligibility. The ability to work evening hours is necessary. Experience facilitating groups and providing substance abuse counseling preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide services and outreach to populations interacting with the Warren County Court House and to the homeless population
• Provide individual, family, group therapy, and psychosocial assessments for children and adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, or both.
• Maintain an average of 5-6 hours daily billable service at Clinic, community partner locations, schools, homes, and via telehealth during regular weekday operating hours.
• Provide emergency on-call services as needed; after hours and on weekends (scheduled in advance and reimbursed beyond base pay).

***All 30 hour positions will be enrolled in our company retirement program through the Kentucky Public Pension Authority (KPPA); six percent (6%) of your gross income will be deducted from each check. All LifeSkills Inc. / Pennyroyal Inc. employees who work 30 hours or more a week are required to participate in this program.
The employee contribution rate is set by the State General Assembly. Employee contributions are deposited into member accounts. These contributions to the retirement system are currently tax deferred. Member accounts are kept confidential between the member and the Kentucky Retirement Systems.
