Looking for a position serving YOUR local community? LifeServe Blood Center, a non-profit blood collection organization, is currently looking for individuals to join our team of lifesavers! LifeServe was recently selected as the sole provider of blood and blood products to hospitals in Mitchell and surrounding communities. Our dedicated team members are the vital link between generous volunteer blood donors and hospital patients who rely on lifesaving blood transfusions and work diligently to ensure their friends, families, hospitals, and patients in Mitchell and surrounding communities have access to a strong blood supply. As one of the top 15 blood centers in the country, LifeServe Blood Center’s foundation is based on local blood donors supporting the needs of their local hospitals.
Full-time team members are eligible for a robust benefit package which includes medical, dental, vision, critical illness, supplemental insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance and a company matching 403b. LifeServe also offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program, approximately 4 weeks in the first year of employment which begins to accrue on day one of employment. LifeServe is committed to fair and equitable wages. Base wages start around $18.07/ hr with additional shift differentials paid for hours worked between 6:00 PM and before 6:00 AM.
LifeServe's Operations Technicians are involved in every aspect of ensuring a strong and stable blood supply for the community including volunteer blood donor recruitment, blood collection, processing, and distribution to hospitals in Mitchell and surrounding communities. Few organizations offer this level of opportunity that has direct impact in all areas of the company’s lifesaving mission. We offer all paid training needed to be a successful member in this mission. As your training progresses, you can expect to be involved in more detailed and complex skills as an Operations Technician 2 and 3 with increasing pay opportunities with each step.
