Admissions Coordinator

LifeScape is seeking a compassionate and qualified candidate to join our collaborative, interdisciplinary team as an Admissions Coordinator at our Children Service’s location in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This position is responsible for educating, facilitating, coordinating, and monitoring the admissions process with our pediatric location.

Some of the duties for this role include but are not limited to:

Respond to inquiries on a wide variety of programs, funding, and resources

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with area stakeholders including area schools, state officials, consultants, admissions directors, and organizations and create networking opportunities
• Represent LifeScape to internal and external stakeholders marketing LifeScape services to promote and support future admissions
• Collaborate and participate in the development of admissions and informational materials, events, and marketing practices to promote current and emerging services
• Coordinate and conduct tours for referral sources, potential enrollees, and families
• Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate admissions meetings with appropriate parties which may include families, referral sources, external case managers, the new enrollee, conflict case managers, internal Individual Support Plan (ISP) team, advocates, or any other stakeholders
• Verify that necessary funding authorization has been received prior to service delivery; files appropriate documentation with Department of Social Services
• Work closely with the Billing and Accounting departments to ensure funding sources are secured.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver admission decisions in a timely manner that is in alignment with our core values
• Lead Admissions Team meetings
• Complete other duties as assigned
