Employment Qualifications:Applicants responding to this position must be a US Citizen and may be subjected to a government security investigation which requires possessing the ability to view classified government information, background checks and drug screening. All applicants applying must have lived in the US for the past 5 years and cannot have traveled out of the country more than 6 months (cumulatively) in the past five years. (Military Service excluded).

Job Description

At Lifescale Analytics, we help achieve data-driven decision by leveraging strategic technologies to create innovated solutions, that ultimately help our clients to navigate their ever-changing data landscape. We have an opportunity for a Technical Writer. The ideal candidate will need to be proficient with PowerPoint and be able to create presentations that tell a story and can be presented to C-Suite Executives. Will be responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a technical team supporting both networking and computing disciplines. The position will research products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience from engineers to executives.
Responsibilities:

  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for the greatest reader comprehension.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content, process, and technical solutions.
  • Produce, edit, and format technical presentations, documents, and spreadsheets
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation.
  • Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
  • Participate in project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Works on high-visibility programs, or mission-critical aspects of assigned program(s).
  • Support the writing of templates and ad hoc reports.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and manage communication of issues.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.
Job Requirements
  • Fluency in technical and common office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio).
  • Create, edit, modify and maintain version control of forms/documents and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure timely updating of policies, procedures, and processes along with the identification of issue items.
  • Ability to pay attention to details.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to create presentations that tell a story and can be presented to C-Suite Executives.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ensure technical documentation is accurate and complete, meets editorial and specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
  • Coordinate with IT business owners, customers, consultants, and other IT stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and guidance in order to ensure timely completion, testing, publishing, and reporting for compliance of assigned documentation.
  • Provide written weekly status updates to include timeline, risks, and challenges.
  • Familiarity with technology related to networking and server environments

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field experience.
