What does the mobile phlebotomist do?
A mobile phlebotomist or ‘paramedical examiner’ travels to applicant homes to visit our customers applying for life, health and disability insurance. An examiner also does mobile draws that may include clinical research studies, genetics testing and Wellness events in support of our customers. These specimen collections are typically obtained through phlebotomy but are also collected as saliva specimens. Additionally, an examiner can also staff Health and Wellness events as they are available for coverage.
Most mobile phlebotomists or ‘paramedical examiners’ typically cover a 20-30 mile radius of their homes. We have numerous mobile phlebotomist or ‘paramedical examiners’ that cover a broader area for greater revenue opportunity. Creativity and fixability is always supported in this realm.
