LIFENET HEALTH is Hiring a Sterile Processing Technician Near Renton, WA
Location: Renton, WA
Important: This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include: surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.
- Accurately inspects, prepares, and packages all instrumentation and equipment for sterilization.
- Decontaminates all instrumentation and equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Stocks case carts to ensure all items are accounted for and available for processing and/or other departments as assigned. Processes and completes associated case cart documentation.
- Sterilizes all equipment, ensuring the appropriate sterilization method is used and the respective SOP’s are followed. Operates Steam and Ethylene Oxide (EO)sterilizers and accurately completes associated documentation.
- Participates in the department’s continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned by management.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of work experience
Preferred:
- CRCST Certification or equivalent
- 1 year of work Experience in a Sterile Processing Environment or Inspection role
Communication Skills: Able to communicate verbally and in writing.- Teamwork: Able to work in a team environment to achieve goals and deliverables.
- Organization Skills: Able to use time, energy, resources, etc.to achieve goals.
- Attention to Detail: Able to thoroughly and accurately accomplish tasks.
Preferred:
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications
