Description
As a Senior Network Security Engineer at LifeMoves, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include network security planning, implementation, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in network security, with Cisco Meraki expertise being a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Security Design: Develop and implement network security strategies and policies to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.
- Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls and other security devices to ensure the security of the network.
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention: Implement and manage intrusion detection and prevention systems to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Security Auditing: Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans, including investigation, containment, and recovery measures.
- Security Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices while maintaining and updating security policies and procedures.
- Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Cisco Meraki Expertise: Utilize Cisco Meraki solutions for network management, monitoring, and security enhancements.
- Network Optimization: Optimize network performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot network issues.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and security guidance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in network security engineering.
- Cisco Meraki certification or relevant experience is a bonus.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Strong experience with firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and network monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in network administration, routing, and switching.
- Experience working on ad-hoc teams

- Excels at project management to deliver multiple competing objectives and priorities on time, and while coordinating with multiple internal teams, each with their own priorities
