Salary: $29.69-$30.85 hourly

 MAJOR DUTIES: The Project Coordinator works under the supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer. The incumbent performs the following duties independently:

  1. Provide support for all Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) activities, steering committee meetings, and ad hoc committee meetings.
  2. Attend meetings relevant to CCBHC guidelines and report out to leadership.
  3. Provide onsite support to ensure all CCBHC requirements are met.
  4. Facilitate the CCBHC work plan document such as coordinating the advisory board, assisting in setting up systems to collect data, etc.
  5. Make presentations about CCBHC model to key internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Provide guidance and help development of reports and documents to ensure CCBHC standards are met.
  7. Leverage resources for sustainability of CCBHC priorities. Work with relevant staff around advocating for CCBHC adoption.
  8. Provide effective communication to leadership regarding CCBHC legislative changes.
  9. Other duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION

  1. Preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher in counseling, social work or related field preferred;
  2. Minimum 1 years’ project management and preferred 1 years’ experience working with adults with co- occurring mental illness and substance use disorder; 
  3. Project Management experience preferred. 
  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications including Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.
  5. Must have exceptional interpersonal relations skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to create and maintain community partnerships.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and ability to make effective public presentations on technical, complex information.
  7. Thorough knowledge of planning principles, practices, and techniques as they relate to human services and community development, with special emphasis on programs and services for individuals with a behavioral health condition.
  8. Ability to independently initiate, plan and complete work assignments.

COMPLEXITY

Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and creativity are required to help implement programs and assist in the coordination of services.

PERSONAL CONTACTS

Contacts are with members of the treatment team, patients, significant others of the patients, administrative, supervisory and clerical personnel, employers, representatives of various community agencies specializing in the treatment of behavioral health conditions, related community representatives including lawyers, parole officers, and other court officials. All personal contacts are carried out in accordance with federal and state statues, laws and regulations dealing with the confidentiality of alcohol and drug dependent patient records.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak clearly, hear and use hands and fingers to manipulate writing utensils and keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or lift and/or move a maximum of 15 lbs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Working hours are spent indoors in offices or other meeting rooms or in the community.
