LifeLine Ambulance is seeking a hard working dedicated individual to join our team as the Operations Manager for our Grant County operations. This position would be responsible for directing and overseeing all operational activities on a day-to-day basis as well as long-term strategic planning and growth for the Grant County area. We are looking for a candidate who leads by example and delivers a commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations for employees, customers and our community.
LifeLine Ambulance is located in the heart of both the Wenatchee and Okanagan Valleys and Grant County and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year. Duties & Responsibilities
Must provide quality customer service.
Plan, organize, direct and coordinate comprehensive EMS programs with local medical authorities, fire and law enforcement agencies
Supervise and direct EMS personnel on a daily basis.
Prepares special reports, studies, annual budgets and short and long range plans.
Performs daily reviews of demographic information from patient care reports to ensure compliance protocols and response times.
Review employees PCR.
Oversees scheduling of all shift personnel.
Ability to perform duties and responsibilities within the EMT-Basic & EMT-Paramedic job descriptions.
Manage day to day operations of locations to ensure smooth operations.
Be a resource and respond to requests from staff members in addition to showing engagement with upper management and the ownership group.
Remain open to change with a willingness to adapt to new work methods and help to refine and develop work methods, policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
Degree from a four year college or university desired. Minimum of (3) years EMT-Paramedic experience required, (1) year experience in administrative or supervisory work. Must maintain certification as an EMT-Paramedic in the state of Washington.
Licenses/Certifications:
Active Washington State EMT-Paramedic certification. Current on OTEP/Continuing education, Current AHA BLS Instructor. Current on ACLS/PALS. Maintain current Washington State drivers license. Current Hep B vaccination. ICS: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700 and 800.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have good leadership skills.
Must have good organizational skills.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Managers First Recourse Manual, Safety Manual and Company Handbook.
Thorough knowledge of advanced emergency medical care practices, procedures and techniques.
Thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations and policies governing EMS in the State of Washington.
Thorough knowledge of equipment and supplies used in EMS.
Thorough knowledge of the Incident Management System.
Ability to supervise and coordinate emergency vehicles, equipment and personnel in emergency situations, as well as non-emergency situations.
Must relate effectively with employees, customers, patients and the general public and function as part of a team.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs.
Ability to read and understand financial statements.
HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Understand and comply with corporate safety procedures.
Comply with random drug screening policies.
Supervise and ensure all employees are complying with safety policy and procedures.
Supervise and ensure vehicles, company equipment and stations comply with safety policy and procedures.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a salary exempt position offering a range of $90,000-$110,000/year based on experience.
