LifeLine Ambulance CA is Hiring a CCT RN Coordinator Near Commerce, CA

Salary Range: $60,000 - $160,000

Hiring Status: Full Time or Part Time

Job Summary:

As the Clinical Care Transport RN Coordinator at LifeLine EMS, you will play a critical role in shaping and overseeing the clinical quality of our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) calls, with a specific focus on Critical Care Transport (CCT). Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety within the CCT team. In collaboration with the Paramedic Coordinator and the CCT team, you will also work closely with the Clinical Director & Education Director to integrate clinical expertise into training and education programs.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Clinical Quality Oversight: Provide strategic leadership in evaluating and enhancing the clinical quality of EMS calls, with a primary focus on CCT. Collaborate with the Paramedic Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical quality assurance measures within the EMS and CCT context.
  • CCT Team Supervision: Oversee the clinical aspects of the CCT team, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to the CCT team, promoting excellence in patient care.
  • Training and Education Integration: Collaborate with the Education Director to integrate clinical expertise into training and education programs. Ensure that clinical quality standards are incorporated into the curriculum, particularly in areas related to CCT. Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate clinical components into the overall curriculum. Lead and facilitate clinical instruction, ensuring hands-on training meets the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular evaluations of clinical practices within the EMS and CCT settings, soliciting feedback from staff and other stakeholders. Implement improvements based on evaluation results, industry advancements, and the specific needs of the CCT team.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise clinical instructors and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship. Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff to enhance their teaching and clinical skills.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance measures in clinical training, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices. Collaborate with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and uphold accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Current and valid clinical certifications and licenses.
  • Extensive clinical experience in emergency medical services, with a significant focus on Critical Care Transport.
Previous experience in clinical education and program development, with a strong emphasis on improving clinical quality within EMS.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with instructional, administrative, and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, fostering an environment of open communication.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide strong leadership to the clinical team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Mentor and develop clinical instructors to ensure a high standard of teaching and clinical supervision.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Reviews paperwork for accuracy and correct process.
  • Must participate in scheduled and unscheduled onsite compliance audits.
  • Implements corrective/preventive measures as determined by the Corporate Compliance/Audit Committee.
  • Cooperates with Internal Audit and Compliance on any recommendations and changes to compliance and legal workflow issues.
  • Takes swift and immediate action in accordance with Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance on any areas of concern.

o Complies and enforces all policies and procedures.
o Has successfully completed all required Compliance Training within the required time period.
o Has had no compliance-related corrective action during the current review period.

• Participate in Safety and Risk training and activities.• Serves as a company representative promoting positive customer relationships through proactive involvement in public business and community activities.
  • Ensures a safe and productive work and classroom environment. Be a steward of safety, that you and your peers operate safely, in an environment free from danger and risk.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
