LifeLens Technologies is Hiring a Senior Network Engineer Near Ivyland, PA

LifeLens Technologies, Inc. is a pioneering technology company specializing in the development of state-of-the-art IoT devices tailored for the medical and government sectors. We are dedicated to delivering seamlessly integrated solutions, combining on-premises infrastructure with Azure Cloud to empower operational efficiency and elevate security standards.

We are seeking a proficient Senior Network Engineer with expertise in hybrid network architectures encompassing on-premises infrastructure and Azure Cloud integration. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing network solutions to facilitate the seamless operation of our infrastructure across on-premises and Azure Cloud environments. 

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy resilient network architecture that seamlessly integrates on-premises infrastructure with the Azure Cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity for IoT devices in medical and government applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provision and manage network resources and services, guaranteeing the efficient integration and operation of on-premises and Azure-based network components.
  • Lead the development of network configurations, including VPN connections, Azure ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity solutions to facilitate secure and efficient data transmission for our IoT devices.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance across on-premises and Azure environments, proactively identifying and addressing potential latency issues, bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Implement robust network security protocols tailored for hybrid environments, encompassing on-premises infrastructure and Azure Cloud, to ensure comprehensive data protection and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to facilitate a collaborative and cohesive approach to on-premises and Azure Cloud integration, fostering seamless deployment and operation of IoT devices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in hybrid networking solutions, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to enhance our network infrastructure and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing network solutions within hybrid on-premises and Azure Cloud environments, with a specific focus on IoT or connected devices.
  • Proficiency in Azure networking services, on-premises network infrastructure, VPN connectivity, and hybrid network architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with network security in hybrid environments, encompassing on-premises infrastructure and Azure Cloud, to implement comprehensive data protection measures.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, and network features specific to on-premises and Azure Cloud environments.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar, will be advantageous.
  • Prior experience working with IoT devices, particularly within the medical or government sectors, is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Work closely with CSO and Infosec team to ensure both on prem and cloud infrastructure meets our defined security standards.
