Are you looking for a rewarding position that offers you the chance to enhance lives through tissue recovery? LifeCenter Organ Donor Network is looking for a Full Time Tissue Recovery Technician I to add to our Tissue Services Team.

This position is responsible for working in a surgical suite to recover allograft tissue for transplantation and research while following all industry standards. This is done in a sterile environment. This position requires an individual that is able to withstand a high stress environment that can be emotionally charged.

If you have experience in funeral or mortuary services this may be a great position for you to consider.

Although we are not categorized as a medical facility, individuals who have served in roles such as medical assisting, nursing assistant, surgical or radiology technologist may consider this position a very rewarding and challenging career move.

Requirements

• This position is a rotation of 12 hour shifts weekly
• Hours are 7:00pm - 7:00am
• 12-hour on call weekends with paid mileage!
• Physical Requirements: Standing for several hours to recover gifts, must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Recovery, labeling and packaging of donated gifts
• Anatomy and physiology knowledge
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Able to work with a team
• Clinical background preferred
