JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Extern is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The Nurse Extern is assigned to work under the supervision of the licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs, extern skill level and abilities. The Nurse Extern provides care for the adolescent , adult or geriatric patient.
REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma Currently enrolled in an accredited academic program leading to a Diploma, Associate degree or Baccalaureate of Nursing degree. Must have satisfactorily completed Nursing fundamentals in same.

• Less than 2 years Required

• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
