The Life University Grounds Team and Athletic Departments are looking for current Graduate Assistants to help play a vital role in preserving and enhancing the visual appeal of our grounds. This position primarily involves hands-on tasks, including leaf blowing, weed control, signage management, and pressure washing. We value flexibility, and although much of the work occurs independently, collaboration is essential during in-person check-ins and special projects. Responsibilities

- Perform leaf blowing using electric equipment.

- Hand-weed control in designated areas.

- Use electric weed eaters for weed control in specified zones.

- Ensure the cleanliness of the premises by policing and disposing of trash.

- Manage signage on fences, ensuring they are well-maintained.

- Maintain the cleanliness of bleachers by wiping down and using leaf blowers.

- Conduct pressure washing on bleachers, sidewalks, and other designated focus areas.

- Water and maintain all planters within the designated areas.

Requirements

- Must be a current student in good standing at Life University.

- Must be a current Graduate Assistant who has preapproval from their manager to take on this position as an extra responsibility.

- Previous experience in grounds maintenance preferred.

- Familiarity with operating electric landscaping equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently.

- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
