EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The minimum education required to be a Clinical Director is a master's degree with a LISW-S or
equivalent license from the state of Ohio that is valid and up to date. Previous experience in a
mental health clinic or similar organization with a residency in a psychiatry program. Fluent in
Spanish is a plus. Background check is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Life Solutions South of Ohio is a fast-paced working environment due to the high demand for
services. The Regional Clinical Director will work full time during regular business hours, based on
the agency's hours of operation. The Regional Clinical Director will be expected to be on-site as
well as occasionally travel to the agency's four campuses (Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH, and
Canton, OH).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of the Clinical Director include the following:
Administrative/Supervisory
Required to turn in weekly recorded minute meetings with Chief Medical Director
Required to maintain 15-20 billable hours (Assessment(s), Individual Counseling, Case
Coordination)
Hire Clinical Staff
Provide administrative oversight of both therapists and qualified mental health specialists (QMHS)
· Delineate responsibilities through task and client assignments

· Complete reports and documents related to productivity and administrative duties
Participate in supervisory level meetings to create/manage policy and procedure on site
Facilitate bi-weekly agency-wide clinical staff meetings
Clinical (Indirect care)

•Provide clinical supervision of both therapists and qualified mental health specialists (QMHS)
plans and titration of services, and discharge plans of clients.
Oversee crisis intervention program and team
knowledge on community based mental health; coordinate as needed with intern faculty
supervisors and LSS employees.
Develop standardization of psychotherapy progress notes
client's condition
Research medical issues and new medical treatments to update your knowledge on psychiatric
healthcare
Oversee the update and maintain patients' health record and charts, maintains master
client lists

Assist clients in obtaining and maintain stability through coping and developing a support system
Review patients' medical history and collect additional information
Evaluate patients' emotional, behavioral, and mental state through discussion, observation.
Identify mental disorders and determine best treatments and therapeutic modalities
SKILLS
The Regional Clinical Director should be punctual and have a professional demeanor and
appearance, be friendly, courteous, and interact well with people from diverse backgrounds.
The Regional Clinical Director is expected to review and follow the policies of the Life Solutions
South, serve as role model, and demonstrate effective communication, leadership, and clinical
expertise.
The Regional Clinical Director is to provide feedback on the therapist's clinical performance and
other clinical related activities and encourage the therapist to demonstrate the use of theoretical
frameworks for care and decision making.
The Regional Clinical Director is expected to provide an open and inviting environment to enhance
the therapist's cultural competency and maintain open communication with the executive
leadership of Life Solutions South.
The Regional Clinical Director also should be proficient with Mac computers, Google docs,
Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, data entry, Zoom Communications
(videoconferencing) as well as basic typing. The Clinical Director should have knowledge of
various mental health treatment methods, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, great
interpersonal skills, strong observation skills to accurately evaluate patients, and the ability to work
collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team and agency staff.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
