We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Manager in the Springfield, NJ area. Your team has 2 Software Engineers and you would have control of the new hire of a 3rd person. You will be coding as well (approximately 60% coding).

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a small software team of 3 software engineers as a manager, mentor, and lead programmer
• Collaborate with executive management team to define long term product architecture and R&D plan
• Communicate with customers and internal parties on active projects and existing releases
• Perform design/code reviews with other team members

Requirements include:

• Significant experience with C#.NET and WPF applications
• Experience with developing and delivering high quality software on Windows
• 5 years development experience in an agile environment

Preferred:

• Automated systems control experience (ideal candidate has worked in our industry and is familiar with liquid handlers)
• Management experience
• SOA experience
• SQL database experience
• DevOps experience

This is an ONSITE role. There is a possibility you may work 1 day per week remotely.

Estimated Total Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000
