Life Link III is Hiring a Flight Registered Nurse - Detroit Lakes, MN Near Detroit, MN
- Provides leadership to other members of the patient care team.
- Communicates effectively with team members, medical control and other health care staff involved in patient care.
- Demonstrates the ability to assess, plan care, intervene and evaluate outcomes.
- Safely and effectively transports critically ill and/or injured patient(s).
- Implements Life Link III medical protocols when appropriate for patient(s).
- Able to assess, manage and implement care to critically ill patients
- Understanding of pharmacological interactions.
- Effectively interfaces with specialty teams, including communications and equipment
- Provides guidance to specialty teams to maintain a safe transport environment.
- Will maintain education requirements required to maintain license and/or certifications.
- Maintains a safe work environment
- Participates in duties to assure the base remains a clean environment
- Demonstrates a continual awareness and use of positive interpersonal communications and public relations skills in supporting the philosophy, mission, and quality of Life Link III.
- Maintains effective working relationships with member hospitals and their representatives, with supervisors and managers with the organization and Life Link III employees.
- Current MN, ND and WI RN Licenses (both required at time of hire)
- Current Certifications: ACLS; BCLS; PALS, NRP, NIMS 100, 200, 700
- NRP may be completed during orientation
- 3 years’ experience (4000 hours) Critical Care experience including ICU.
- Must pass mandatory post-offer drug/isokinetic and background screening tests
- Clinician must weigh 230 pounds or less (including uniform & boots)

- Salary range – RN with a Bachelor’s Degree - $38.55 - $48.18
