Title: Mobile Crisis Therapist II

Pay Range: $60,000 annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide services and supportive interventions to individuals who are experiencing an acute, immediate crisis. Provide crisis counseling to adults by providing psychotherapy and identifying interventions such as referrals to support resources to assist in resolving crisis situations. Provide involuntary hospital evaluations or assistance in voluntary crisis unit admissions when needed. Mobile crisis services accept referrals from community agencies, family members, and individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide supportive intervention to adults in crisis situations outside of a LifeSkills facility, ensuring that they have access to psychotherapy as well as an individual service plan and treatment plan.
• Complete KRS 202A Involuntary hospital evaluations
• Complete Mobile Crisis Evaluations and make appropriate dispositions when needed.
• Assist with discharge planning, family interventions or any other needs the client may have.
• Follow up with individuals that receive mobile crisis services as well as with hospital discharges as needed to encourage/set up outpatient services.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely and acceptable manner.
• Additional responsibilities may include performing evaluations for the jail diversion and providing mobile crisis interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters' degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family, or counseling.
• Good written, verbal and communication skills.
• Acceptable background check.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work calmly under stressful conditions.
• Valid drivers' license.
