Life Extension Foundation Buyers Club Inc is Hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator Near Edison, NJ
General Description:This position is primarily responsible for the daily operation of the receiving department, tracking inventory, maintaining maximum inventory accuracy records and researching/resolving discrepancies.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages inventory in distribution center; includes receiving and stocking and replenishment of products
- Assists with daily picks, retrieving stock, verifying shipments and locating missing product
- Runs daily inventory control reports for Director of Distribution & Logistics
- Facilitates weekly date checks, cycle counts and quality checks
- Identifies potential errors, omissions or inconsistencies with current inventory and/or quality issues
- Participates in annual physical inventory
- Collaborates with quality control, purchasing and Director of Distribution & Logistics regarding receiving issues, pack size and QR code issues
- Verifies primary and alternate location of items and edits in the system
- Researches data to troubleshoot Inventory Control issues
- Prepares items to be transferred to Florida shipping site
- Assists other departments as needed, including Shipping, Verifying and Returns
- Assists in ensuring the Warehouse is kept clean and organized
- Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
- Additional duties as needed
Position Requirements:
- 5 years of Inventory Management experience; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Ability to operate all electric material handling equipment including but not limited to, reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack and a dock machine in a safe manner; Certification preferred
- Able to stand on feet the entire working day; able to bend, crouch and reach as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Flexible to work overtime due to business needs
