• Full-time and part-time positions available: full-time is 10 therapy sessions and 10 clinical supervision sessions per week & part-time is at least 5 therapy sessions and 5 clinical supervision sessions per week.
• Must be willing to see clients of all ages, children and adults
• Various compensation models available (Salary, Hourly, 60/40 split)
• Salary is negotiable through the interview process based on license status, credentials, and experience and for exceptional applicants interested in full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing therapy to individuals, couples, or families in one of our 13 office locations, In Home Family Therapy, School-Based, or via Teletherapy.
• Provide clinical supervision to therapy interns and/or provisionally licensed therapists who are working towards independent licensure. Be knowledgeable of state laws and regulations surrounding clinical supervision, as well as adhere to ACA Code of Ethics.
• Conducting diagnostic assessments of new clients to gather diagnostic information, social history, set goals, create treatment plans, and introduce clients to our services.
• Skilled in establishing rapport and maintaining a professional working relationship with clients, colleagues, and collateral contacts such as schools, doctors, DHS, etc.
• Complete clinical documentation, including supervision documents, assessments, psychotherapy notes, treatment plans, and discharge reports.
• Attend 1-hour monthly Staff Meeting at assigned office location.
• Attend 1-hour monthly Clinical Meeting at assigned office location and twice per year Clinical Meeting at central location.
• Other duties as needed or appropriate.

Requirements:

• Must have maintained an independent license in the state of Iowa for at least 3 years.
• Must take a 6 hr CE course on clinical supervision and follow up with continuing education in supervision.
• Must have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Must have a great sense of ethics, professionalism, and be able to positively represent Life Connections within the community.
• Must be skilled at completing clinical documentation thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Must possess basic computer skills such as utilizing Google Drive, Gmail, Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems, managing electronic calendars, scanning, and uploading documents.
• Must be a self-starter and reliable.
