As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting clients, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, and performing general administrative support. Respond to HUD Section 8 rental assistance program inquiries, landlord/tenant and other social service agency questions
Process all incoming mail and distribute to appropriate specialist
Update system information on continual basis
Assist caseworkers by preparing Request for Tenancy Approval forms, leases and other paperwork, and pulling the appropriate letters
Assist public in completing pre-applications and scheduling appointments when necessary
Be responsible for tacking all damage and unreported income claims
Assist with processing payments
Requirements
Two years' experience with word processing programs
Ability to type 65 wpm
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years' administrative/clerical experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment to achieve department goals and perform all necessary job requisites
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
Must be knowledgeable in spelling, punctuation, usage composition, and appropriate office procedures and office equipment
