Job Summary
The Preventative Maintenance Program Manager II is responsible for the development and management of Truck Service programs for preventive maintenance, oil, filter, additive and coolant product categories, standard services, and labor.The Program Manager plans, directs and promotes sales of assigned product categories to company and franchise operated sites.They develop consistent marketing programs with operations to ensure maximum volume, profitability and returns on company assets.The review, recommend and support sales efforts with major fleet customers to implement consistent shop marketing programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Truck Service financial performance through the development and management of effective Truck Service Marketing Programs.
  • Support HQ financial performance through the development and management of effective Truck Service Marketing Programs.
  • Develop and implement Truck Service strategy.
  • Perform Truck Service re-image projects.
  • Provide Truck Service program information and resolve issues relating to assigned Truck Service programs. Provide communications to TA field and headquarters regarding shop programs.
  • Plan, initiate and participate in Truck Service product procurement.
  • Plan, develop and implement Truck Service Marketing Promotions.
  • Direct Truck Service preventive maintenance retail pricing.
  • Direct Truck Service preventive maintenance standard service pricing.
  • Assure implementation of Procurement initiatives.
  • Supervise and coordinate Truck Service Product Programs.
  • Manage the development of preventive maintenance Marketing/Merchandising Programs.
  • Plan and coordinate participation at industry (TMC) shows.
  • Attend industry related shows/events and supplier meetings.
  • Manage and develop assigned vendor contracts to maximize profitability and increase vendor relations.
  • Manage and lead associate category manager and preventative maintenance coordinator.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, statistics or related field preferred; Master's degree a plus
  • 4-7 years program management experience preferred with developed knowledge of truck vehicle systems
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills required
  • Knowledge of SAP, BW, Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook and IBM Cognos
