Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Foreman to become part of our growing company. Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 contingent on experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee a crew size of 3-5 members

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Has an advanced knowledge of plants, horticulture pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean up
• Proficiently operate a variety of lawn maintenance equipment, such as zero turn mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, chainsaws, etc.
• Communicate with clients when necessary and addresses customer concerns
• Effectively communicates client needs to the Account Manager
• Train crew members to properly use equipment and perform job duties to the Ground Works Land Design standard
• Submits all required records in accordance with company policies
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Educations and Experience:

• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Able to work successfully with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in landscape and grounds keeping
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment a plus
• Able to analyze diverse problems and consistently make proper decisions

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
• Able to stand for long periods of time
