Life by Design Inc. provides one-on-one, home and community based services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses, living independently in the community (we do not own or operate any group homes or provide overnight shifts/hours).

In a typical day, tasks might include teaching and supporting clients to (but are not limited to):

• Complete household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping;
• Live a healthier life i.e. exercising, meal planning etc.;
• Attend medical and/or dental appointments;
• Develop and maintain social skills in a variety of community settings.

Life By Design Offers:

• Starting wage range of $15.50-16.25/hr for Part-Time (less than 30 hours/Week)

Qualified Applicants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid MN Driver’s License and be able to pass a driver’s record check
• Have or have access to a reliable vehicle (and the ability to transport individuals
• Be able to fluently read, write and speak English
• Be able to pass a criminal background check
• Have a willingness to learn, and the ability to be a team player
• Be engaging, creative, and possess a drive to teach independent living skills
• Be experienced with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health (preferred but not required)
