Life Asset is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and approved Small Business Administration (SBA) Microlender. Life Asset is one of the largest microlenders in the Washington DC area.
Position Summary
Life Asset seeks to hire a full-time Loan Officer to help lead the organization in its next phase of growth. The Loan Officer will work with Life Asset's lending team to expand the small business loan portfolio and be responsible for outreach/marketing, pre-loan training, loan origination, underwriting, loan closing, post-loan business training, servicing, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Life Asset Loan Officer is responsible for providing microloans and technical assistance to low-income entrepreneurs in the Washington DC area. The Loan Officer will develop close working relationships with clients and Life Asset's partners. This position offers unique opportunity to join a small but growing organization, providing innovative and entrepreneurial services to meet Life Asset's client and partner needs, and carrying out Life Asset's mission. The Loan Officer's tasks include but are not limited to the following:
