Lido Labs is Hiring a Remote TELEHEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST (CONTRACT) VERMONT

Position Summary:

As a Telehealth Psychologist, you will provide remote mental health services to individuals through telecommunication technologies. You will conduct virtual therapy sessions, assessments, and consultations to address clients' psychological needs and promote their overall well-being. Your expertise in psychology and strong communication skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality mental health care remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Psychological Assessments: Administer and interpret psychological assessments remotely to evaluate clients' mental health, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans. Utilize standardized assessment tools and collaborate with clients to gather relevant information for accurate assessment and diagnosis.
  • Treatment Planning and Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs, goals, and preferences. Establish measurable treatment goals and regularly monitor progress to ensure effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
  • Mental Health Education and Support: Educate clients about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and empower them to actively participate in their treatment. Offer guidance and support to help clients develop healthy coping mechanisms and improve their emotional well-being.
  • Crisis Intervention and Risk Assessment: Assess and manage mental health crises and emergencies remotely. Utilize your training and expertise to evaluate risk factors, provide immediate support, and guide clients to appropriate resources or referrals when necessary.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes, treatment plans, assessments, and progress updates. Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines related to data protection and privacy.
  • Professional Development and Collaboration: Stay updated with the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and telehealth practices in the field of psychology. Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as continuing education and peer consultations. Collaborate with other mental health professionals to share knowledge, insights, and best practices.
  • Telehealth Technology and Platform Management: Familiarize yourself with telehealth platforms and technologies to facilitate seamless virtual sessions. Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information by adhering to HIPAA regulations and using secure communication channels.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution
  • Licensure or certification as a psychologist in the state of Oregon
  • Proven experience in providing psychological services, preferably including telehealth or remote counseling
  • In-depth knowledge of psychological theories, assessments, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Strong communication and active listening skills to establish rapport and engage with clients effectively
  • Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to support clients in their mental health journey
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for remote delivery and utilize telecommunication technologies effectively
  • Proficient in using video conferencing software, secure platforms, and electronic health records (EHR)
  • Compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards related to mental health practice and telehealth
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage client schedules, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work remotely and accommodate clients' needs, including some evenings or weekends, as required
