Purpose

Accountabilities
The Operator I may perform routine functions associated with the daily operations of a collection, treatment and production and distribution system.
Conducts and administers all Company work related efforts and activities within the rules, regulations and responsibilities of the most current Company safety policy and OSHA regulation.
Daily inspection of all well sites, reservoirs, lift stations, and booster stations, noting well motor run times, pump rates and operation, general condition of sites and appurtenances.
Turns water service on and off. Disconnect water services and removes meters. Log accurate detail on service orders. Inspection of possible leaks.
Repairs, when possible, to service lines, mains and hydrants, completes utility locates.
complete sampling if deemed necessary, to assure customer satisfaction and confidence.
Perform routine maintenance and / or repairs at sites. Filter changes, adjustments and repairs to chlorine generators and feed pumps.
Maintenance of motor and pump oiling equipment, addition of oil to oilers. Regular scheduled maintenance to electric motors.
Education and Experience
Work requires high degree of knowledge of plumbing materials and methods as related to utility improvements. Appropriate certification is required.
Certification must be kept current throughout employment.
