Position: Trailer Mechanic Tech 

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour 

Report to: Shop Manager 

Department: Shop 

Shift: Day Shift (Full-Time)

Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• May be responsible for performing a combination of the following duties based upon job assignment and have basic knowledge: 
• Servicing semi-trucks and trailers. 
• Of electrical repair and preventing maintenance. 
• Work safely and cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors. 
• Must be self-motivated to complete an assignment. 
• Requires climbing, standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects in awkward and confined spaces using proper lifting and rigging techniques. 
• Subject to working near moving parts of heavy machinery and high voltage equipment where the use of appropriate protective/safety equipment is required. 
• Work includes indoor and outdoor environment. 

Education/Skills/Experience

• Previous Trailer Mechanic experience preferred. 
• DOT inspection license for tractor, trailer, and bus. (Not required, but preferred)
