Position: Machine Operator - 12hr NIGHT swing shift

Hourly Rate: $17.00

Reports to: Night Shift Supervisor

Department: Production

Schedule: 7pm-7:30am (Swing shift)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Successfully operate the crumb line equipment while complying with all safety standards, regulations and operating procedures
• Successfully operate the crumb line equipment following company standards and settings while maximizing production and minimizing downtime
• Successfully execute machine set-ups, start-ups, changeovers, steady state operations and preventative maintenance (PM’s)
• Conduct validation testing to ensure all finished products comply with company packaging and quality control standards and guidelines
• Monitor and examine equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation
• Troubleshoot equipment stops, breakdowns, and downtime root causes
• Notify shift supervisor of any equipment or quality issues or problems
• Accurately enter, document and maintain all production paperwork and KPI metrics including daily and hourly production rates, downtime root causes, and the associated downtime minutes
• Perform all required equipment cleaning and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Participate in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods
• Follow and comply with all company safety standards, work rules, and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
