Local company looking for an electronic technician to joing their team. Although not a Quality Control position, each employee is responsible for the overall quality of their work.

Hours: M-F 8am -5pm

Pay: starting at 16/hr

Job requirements:

Email Etiquette: We would require Technicians to be able to compose professional emails.

Prior technician background

Understanding of Electronic circuits

Ability to solder

Ability to use standard troubleshooting pieces of test equipment

Testing:

Test completed products

Return products to Shop Foreman

Be sure all defects in manufacturing are brought to Shop Foreman’s attention

Load programs into products via hand help programmers

Document test procedures for new products

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing problems

Troubleshoot and repair returned products

Repairs / RMA’s:

Give out RMA #

Determine problem with any returned units

For repairs, check with customer to ensure they want to repair unit(s)

Maintain RMA database

Quality Control:

Inspect for quality defects every time you handle a product

Aesthetics are as important as operation!

Repairs work must be done without damaging the PCB or its traces

Repairs must look like original work when completed

Everything we do must look right – no sloppy products, paperwork, or packaging

Any changes to BOM structure must be documented in part history file

Any changes in schematic must be documented

Any changes in test procedures or test fixtures must be documented

Projects:

Write test procedures for all products

Build new test fixtures for products

Document test fixtures

Build displays when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
