Liberty Resources / Liberty POST is Hiring a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist Near Syracuse, NY

Liberty POST is currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide diagnostic evaluation services as part of an interdisciplinary team. The position will be either Part Time or Full Time. Additional opportunities to provide direct services to children and families including ABA, counseling, parent training, and more are available. Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 2011. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY, and has grown to provide a range of services throughout all of New York State. We employ over 600 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve. Responsibilities:Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological and neuropsychological assessment measures including but not limited to those assessing intelligence, social-communication skills, special deficits, personality, educational achievement, vocational interests, and adaptive functioning. Complete comprehensive Psychological Evaluation on consumer based or tests, clinical assessment with clinical recommendations. Provide follow-up care for patients and families as appropriate. Complete all documentation as per appropriate agency and regulatory standards for specific programs. Participate in treatment, feedback and occasional team meetings Maintain positive communication between supervisors and employees Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and Agency regulations and operating standards. Qualifications:Doctoral Degree in Psychology with New York State Licensure Familiarity and ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments, including ADOS-2 Display excellent clinical competence and judgment; able to work in multi-disciplinary team setting Excellent verbal and written skillsManage electronic data regarding the client’s progress using our electronic medical records program Perform other related duties as required. Experience/certification in ABA is preferredRespect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to that diversity Valid NYS Driver’s License Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Adobe, Word and Excel Benefits for this position:Health Insurance for FT positions Mentoring is offered to all providers CEU credits offered through ASHA, AOTA, APTA and CTLE Flexible scheduling Work with a team of professionals that care about making a difference Payment is biweekly and direct deposit is available Liberty POST cares about your safety.
