Responsibilities:
Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley - a region best known for its natural beauty - in the charming city of Staunton, Virginia. We provide trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment to adolescent males who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties. Our programs are specifically designed for youth with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring intellectual disabilities. We also specialize in working with young men who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We are a 58-bed facility (42 on campus, and 16 community-based).
We try to accommodate shift preference, however not all shifts are available at all times.Current need

Qualifications:Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Current license to practice nursing in State of Virginia (or eligible to receive or renew)
- Current CPR or BLS certification preferred (can renew as part of New Employee Orientation)
- Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire
- Ability to successfully complete and pass all components of Handle With Care & Verbal De-escalation Crisis Intervention Training
- Ability to use and supervise Handle With Care (HWC) techniques
- Reflect behavior, attitude, and appearance appropriate to the position and be supportive of the facility and division philosophy, goals, and objectives
- Effectively communicate both verbally and via written documentation
