Responsibilities:
Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare, LLC is actively seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to fulfill the role of Front Desk Coordinator/Payroll Clerk.
The Front Desk Coordinator provides operational support for the Controller and Front Desk/Reception Area, under the supervision of the Controller. The ideal candidate will typically be the first impression of Liberty Point and will interact with employees, residents, visitors, and vendors on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a positive demeanor and sharp attention to detail, will demonstrate consistency and reliability, and will have adept knowledge of time tracking, payroll, and accounting functions, and will be responsible for ensuring that employees of the organization are paid accurately and on time.

is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley - a region best known for its natural beauty - in the charming city of Staunton, Virginia. We provide trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment to adolescent males who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties. Our programs are specifically designed for youth with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring intellectual disabilities. We also specialize in working with young men who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We are a 58-bed facility (42 on campus, and 16 community-based). Our program prepares these young men for return to a home, a less restrictive environment, or to independent living. Our primary focus is on encouraging constructive change and personal growth, learning positive ways to get appropriate attention, improving behavior choices, developing a sense of responsibility for actions, learning problem-solving skills, and developing thinking patterns that support positive relationships.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Able to successfully complete and pass all components of Verbal De-escalation Crisis Intervention Training
  • Able to successfully complete and pass First Aid/CPR/AED training
  • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Base understanding of AP/AR
  • Experience with Kronos Time Tracking software preferred
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answers phones, takes and relays messages, communicates via hand-held radio and phone to facility staff
  • Facilitates secure entry and exit of visitors, checks in visitors and vendors, responds to visitor inquiries
  • Manages daily account of reported PTO, time exceptions, time punches and weekly census report for FTE reporting
  • Transmits bi-weekly time management (payroll) information by deadline on Mondays
  • Maintains a master schedule for the facility
  • Provides clerical support to various departments, including but not limited to, data entry, typing, and filing
  • Handles and distributes mail and deliveries
  • Manages copy machines, supply orders, and other vendor relations
  • May, on occasion, escort residents from one location to another within facility
  • May, on occasion, assist with supervision and documentation of residents during visitations with guests
  • Reflects behavior, attitude, and appearance appropriate to the position and is supportive of the facility and division philosophy, goals, and objectives

Pay is hourly (bi-weekly) and is commensurate with education and experience.
