Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC Design)

Our client an excellent, consulting engineering firm in the local area is actively seeking to add a Senior HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer to the organization due to growth.

Individuals at this level will have experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff. This position will require providing technical leadership for the creation of construction drawings and specifications, existing system studies and master planning efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, architectural engineering, or related discipline
• Seven (7) or more years’ experience in mechanical systems design for commercial, educational, industrial, and corporate projects
• SCA experience required
• EIT registration required
• Professional Engineer license a plus
• Construction specification & documentation development, as well as construction administration
• Fluency in Revit, Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and various engineering software tools.
• LEED certification a plus
