Renowned architecture & design firm is currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Planner to join their team. The Senior Healthcare Planner’s role is to implement the design concepts that are developed by the design team and the Principal.
Description:
Will participate in making decisions regarding planning & design concepts
Assist in maintaining project square footage within approved program
Coordinate the team in producing PD & SD presentation drawings reflecting Page's planning and design recommendations and client expectations relative to approved program and budget
Mentor junior staff
Continue education through seminars and participation in professional organization activities
May participate in business development opportunities for the firm including assisting in responses to RFPs, making project presentations, calling on prospects, networking, writing articles and participating in professional seminars
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
At least 10-15 years of experience working on healthcare related projects
Registered architect
Should have a strategic orientation
Possesses analytical thinking skills
Is a conceptual thinker with design sensitivity
Is adaptable and objective
Ability to confront peers, subordinates and clients constructively
Good interpersonal skills
Good team management skills
Good oral communication/presentation, writing skills, public speaking and can facilitate meetings with clients/ users
Good client management skills
Good technical knowledge
Possesses initiative
Developed leadership skills
Working knowledge of life safety and building codes
Has a grasp of fundamentals and knowledge of theoretical and practical developments in the field of healthcare architecture
Is proficient with Revit, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Has strong graphic presentation skills
Good understanding of how buildings are constructed, i.e. systems, phasing
SALARY: $100-150K
