Job Summary

Truck Scheduler/Production Associate is a dual role within Thrift Center West. This role splits its responsibilities between the Trucking department and the Thrift Center (Production) as directed by the Logistics & Production Manager. These responsibilities range from answering phone calls and scheduling pickups to processing and pricing products.

Essential Job Functions:

Truck Scheduling

• Answers phone calls, schedules pickups, checks voicemail, maintains online scheduling system, returns calls, and confirms next day pickups
• Completes daily paperwork including manager emails, next day trucking routes, and dock reports
• Maintains communication with truck drivers and managers
• Ensures that all product and supplies are shipped in a timely manner
• Leading the trucking team in the absence of the LPM by conducting morning prayer circle, assigning daily tasks, monitoring driver progress throughout the day

• Completes miscellaneous office tasks as assigned

Production

• Assess products for style, condition, and quality for resale within our thrift stores
• Maximizing production by maintaining individual production goals within the thrift center (sorting product, pricing clothing, tagging and hanging clothing, processing shoes, accessories, or linens)

• Have administrative abilities with attention to detail and organization

• Have good and professional communication
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, pull, etc. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Be of good physical and mental health with emotional maturity and a sense of humor
• Needs to be an efficient multi - tasker
• High ethical ability for following the policies and procedures of Liberty Ministries Thrift

• Must be able to take direction well yet be able to work independently while remaining motivated and productive
• Needs to exhibit tact, discretion, and confidentiality
• Flexibility

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required

Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
