Locksmith Technician

Job Responsibilities

· Install locks, door closers, exit devices and door hardware

· Install electric strikes, mag locks and electrified locks

· Rekey and/or Master key locks

· Keep vehicle clean and supplied with tools and parts

· Follow all safety regulations related to all trades

· Specify locks and door hardware and prepare customer quotations

Skills

· Solid Locksmithing basics including high security lock products

· Operate a range of power tools and hand tools safely

· Perform work overhead

· Utilize step ladder and/or extension ladder

· Able to lift up to 75 pounds

· Safe driving record

Experience

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Locksmithing

· Surveying lock and door hardware and recommending solutions

· Basic door and frame experience a plus

· Basic electronic experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
