Patent Billing Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Patent Billing Coordinator to join our team at a leading law firm. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and accounting colleagues to accurately manage and execute billing for our clients.

Responsibilities :

• Draft, edit, and prepare pre-bills and final bills per attorney / client specifications
• Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation
• Ensure proper rates and fee arrangements are reflected for each matter
• Manage e-billing requirements for clients
• Prepare and process write-downs and write-offs
• Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues
• Monitor WIP and A / R inventory for assigned attorneys
• Generate billing statements and production reports
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year experience in legal billing
• Experience with Intellectual Property billing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent time management and communication abilities
