SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Provides care with a focus on discharge preparation and instruction for mother and baby, and coordinates discharge planning with other disciplines.
As a member of our clinical care team, you will have the opportunity to work with your Nurse Manager to identify career development opportunities including (but not limited to), championing quality initiatives, participating in committees, and training to charge and/or precept.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing programRequired Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer; NRP upon completion of orientation
Preferred Education/Training: BSN; graduate from an accredited nursing programPreferred Experience: Recent OB experience as an RN
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Maternal/Newborn nursing (RNC-MNN); Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB); Low-risk neonatal (RNC-LRN); Lactation (IBCLC)
