Liberty Home Health Care is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Springfield, OH

About us

Our work environment includes:

  • Clients Homes

Duties:

- Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Provide catheter care, if necessary
- Support patients receiving hospice care
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Experience in taking vital signs is a plus
- Knowledge of catheter care procedures is beneficial
- Understanding of hospice care principles is a plus
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients in their homes. Your dedication and support will contribute to improving their quality of life. If you are passionate about patient care and have the necessary skills, we invite you to join our team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 45 per week
