OVERVIEWThe National Fulfillment Center (NFC) Supervisor leads a 1 to 2 shift operation that is responsible for sending sample products and literature to both internal and external customers. The role will lead efforts to maximize operational efficiencies, with a high focus on product quality, to provide top notch service and a great experience for the customer. This will and can involve collaborating with other team members across the Americas team, in addition to leading the associates within the samples department as well as quality inspections at the distribution center. This operation is critical to the sales process and this leader must deliver a reliable and predictable process, with a high level of detail to meet and exceeds the customer’s expectations.RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor daily workload and work to meet the expected service levels of internal/external customers.Assure quality of products being stocked in samples department meets exceptional standards.Track inventory levels within samples department.Work closely with key stakeholders (including but not limited to): Customer Service, Sales, Distribution, Sales Operations, and Finance. Coordinate with Corporate Quality Control and lead any necessary inspections as directed.Identify peaks arising from new product launches, trade shows, and other special events, and prepare labor force accordingly.Monitor production and assist in developing solutions to improve operational throughput.Observe team’s activities and work methods, recommending areas of opportunity.Coach team members towards meeting goals and share important business updates.Assist in training team members on NFC processes and equipment.Evaluate the performance of team members and communicate verbal feedback regarding job performance and expectations in a timely manner (with assistance from DC leadership).Monitor, resolve, and escalate expedited requests and issues.Monitor and order all key supplies for the operation.May travel to trade shows to help with set up and tear down to ensure repeatability/consistency.Lead, influence and empower the organization to fulfill our purpose (living our legacy, shaping our future and winning as one).Cultivate a diverse and inclusive culture where associates can thrive, make us better and fuel ideas/innovations to ensure our long-term success.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.Bachelor’s degree preferred; work experience strongly considered in lieu of degree.3 years of prior supervisory experience. Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish.Quality Control background highly desirable.Analytical skills to include problem identification and resolution.Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing, deadline driven work environment, with minimal mistakes.Ability to effectively lead and develop people utilizing excellent communication skills.Knowledge to navigate JDE, WMS, and UPS and/or other 3rd party software.A passion to grow personally and professionally, as well as develop others on your team.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language.
