Payroll Specialist

Location : Mesa, AZ (Onsite)

Salary Range : $50,000 - $55,000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Type : Full-time - Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

An established healthcare organization based in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a Payroll Specialist with at least 5 years of experience to join their team.

Job Description :

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing accurately and efficiently.

This includes but is not limited to calculating wages, processing payroll transactions, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate payroll and possess exceptional Excel skills.

Responsibilities :

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
• Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Prepare payroll reports for management
• Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Assist with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams as needed
• Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in corporate payroll
• Very strong Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Experience with Kronos or similar payroll software is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
