LHH is currently seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our client's team in Tacoma, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the network infrastructure, with a focus on on-premises servers such as Server Exchange. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration and a solid understanding of networking principles and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including on-premises servers such as Server Exchange, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to support business operations.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service.
• Implement security measures to protect network systems and data from cybersecurity threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement network infrastructure projects.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Advanced experience with on-premises servers, particularly Server Exchange.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
