Medical Accounts Receivable

Mesa, AZ 85201 (Onsite)

Pay range: $19-$23 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Core Responsibilities:

• Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances with insurance companies, patients, and attorneys.

• Review patient accounts, reconcile and make necessary adjustments.

• Maintain and update patient accounts with accurate and detailed information.

• Working clinical EMR and billing systems as well as external clearinghouses.

• Analyze EOBs and make necessary adjustments to patient accounts.

• Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and issues.

• Provide support in resolving patient and insurance billing disputes.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical accounts receivable, including experience with major payers such as Medicare and Medicaid and private insurances.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Billing knowledge is a plus.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
