Schedule : Hybrid

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our client in Seattle, Washington. This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal within the casualty practice area. Additional experience in medical malpractice, construction defect, and premise liability is beneficial. Key responsibilities include document review and organization, database management, analyzing medical records, and supporting attorneys in trial preparations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, organize, and manage case documents efficiently
  • Assess and manage evidence for case preparation
  • Prepare subpoenas, handle discovery requests and responses, and assist in background and fact investigations
  • Provide support to attorneys during state and federal court trials in Washington
  • Oversee the management of document databases for case tracking
  • Conduct witness interviews and comprehensive investigations related to cases
  • Analyze and summarize medical records pertinent to cases

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in the casualty practice area
  • Proficiency in Litigation Support software such as Relativity, Westlaw, Case Notebook, Eclipse, Sanction, Trial Pad, IPRO, and CourtTrax
  • Experience preparing subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses
  • Solid understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures relevant to litigation
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • High level of organizational capabilities and attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment
