Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including motions and pleadings
- Preparing correspondence, emails, and other legal documents
- Maintaining calendar and deadline reminder systems
- Preparing and responding to discovery; handling heavy trial prep from discovery through trial, including preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, subpoenas, etc.
- Utilizing docket at attorney/paralegal request to look up routine matters, case numbers or upcoming deadlines
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation at law firm
- Defense litigation experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal certification preferred
- Ability to multitask and handle heavy caseloads
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
