LHH seeks a Data Entry Specialsit in Simi Valley, CA.

Responsibilities :

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access proficiently to process daily demographics into a standardized format, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management.
• Access client portals remotely to rectify holding and pending information discrepancies, particularly focusing on missing charge and demographic data initially omitted.
• Conduct thorough research to identify new referring physicians, correct addresses, and National Provider Identifiers (NPIs), ensuring accurate billing information.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to facilitate accurate charge entry and billing processes.
• Translate and process various work translations related to Point of Service (POS), Relationship Codes, New Patients, and other relevant categories.
• Address and resolve EMC Exceptions efficiently within the Imagine system, ensuring compliance and accuracy in billing procedures.
• Provide assistance in the manual printing of Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) forms on a weekly basis.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, charge entry, or similar position within a healthcare setting preffered
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other relevant software applications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, onsite, from 8 am to 5 pm.
• Contract duration : 3 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
