Contract Specialist, Alexandria, VA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a temporary to permanent Contract Specialist. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, editing and negotiating commercial contracts, specifically MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, providing legal analysis of potential risk, in accordance with laws, rules and regulations.

The candidate will have at least 1 ½ to 3 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities :

  • Primary focus will be working with the legal team to prepare, review, edit, manage and finalize commercial contracts including but not limited to MSAs, NDAs and SOWs
  • Create and manage internal documents efficiently, including but not limited to all aspects of contract management
  • Support the continuous improvement of contract processes and legal policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with members of the legal department on ad hoc basis and prioritize assignments with minimal direction

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 1 ½ to 3 years of legal experience working with commercial contracts in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • If practicing attorney, active and good standing with the Bar Association
  • Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a client first mentality by keeping in consistent communication with internal and external vendors as needed
